Dia Island Description: Dia is a small island located about 10 miles north of Heraklion. It is not inhabited and has no organized facilities. Four natural golfs are formed on the island's south side. The golfs serve as s shelter for fishermen and other vessels throughout the year. Dia is very popular among locals due to its extremely clear waters. There are organized daily trips starting from Hersonissos and Heraklion with a very reasonable cost. If you want to enjoy more intimate moments you can rent our private yacht or arrange a trip with a sailing boat.
